Clear and calm, at your pace

Turning 65 sets off a flood of mail, phone calls, and choices that all sound alike. It is a lot, and most of it is designed to sell rather than explain. My job is the opposite. I sit with you, lay out how Medicare actually works, and help you choose with a clear head.

There are a few main pieces. Original Medicare covers hospital and medical care. From there, many people add a Medicare Supplement to help with the costs Original Medicare leaves behind, or choose a Medicare Advantage plan that bundles coverage together. A separate drug plan covers prescriptions. I will walk you through how these fit together for your situation.

We go at your pace. There is no pressure, and there is no cost to sit down with me and get it sorted.

The pieces of Medicare

What each part actually does

🏥

Original Medicare

Part A covers hospital care and Part B covers doctor and outpatient care. This is the foundation most people start from at 65.

🛡️

Medicare Supplement

Also called Medigap. It helps pay the deductibles and coinsurance Original Medicare leaves to you, for more predictable costs.

📦

Medicare Advantage

A bundled plan from a private carrier that combines your coverage, often with extras. I help you weigh it against a Supplement.

💊

Part D drug plans

Prescription coverage you choose based on the medications you actually take, so you are not overpaying for a plan that does not fit.

🗓️

Enrollment timing

There are windows that matter, from your first sign up around 65 to the fall enrollment period. I keep you ahead of the deadlines.

🤝

No cost guidance

Sitting down with me does not cost you anything, and I stay on as your contact for questions after you enroll.

An important note about your options. We do not offer every plan available in your area. Any information we provide is limited to those plans we do offer in your area. Please contact Medicare.gov or 1-800-MEDICARE, or your local State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP), to get information on all of your options.

How it works

Simple, and steady, from the first call

1

We talk

You tell me about your doctors, your prescriptions, and how you like to get care. I explain your choices in plain English.

2

I compare

I look at the plans I offer in your area and show you how a Supplement and an Advantage plan would each work for you.

3

You decide

You choose what fits, and I handle enrollment. I stay on as your contact for questions down the road.

Questions I hear a lot

Good things to know

When should I start looking at Medicare?

A good time is about three months before you turn 65, which is when your first enrollment window opens. If you are past 65 or still working, the timing can differ, so reach out and I will map your dates.

What is the difference between a Supplement and Medicare Advantage?

A Medicare Supplement works alongside Original Medicare to help cover the costs it leaves behind. A Medicare Advantage plan is an all in one plan from a private carrier. Each has trade offs around cost, networks, and flexibility, and I will walk you through both.

Do I need a separate drug plan?

If you take prescriptions, usually yes, unless your Advantage plan already includes drug coverage. I help you pick a Part D plan based on the specific medications you take.

What does it cost to work with you on Medicare?

Nothing. There is no fee to meet with me and go through your options, and working with an agent does not raise your plan cost.

I am overwhelmed by all the mail and calls. Can you just help me sort it?

Yes, and that is exactly what I am here for. We will go through it together, at your pace, until it feels clear.
